I am not familiar with what Newt is up to these days, particularly not familiar with any WW3 stuff.

As far as McCain, I think he has found a job he is good at. My recommandation would be for him to stay where he is. Setting aside the reservations I have about McCain, I would prefer someone who has proven himself in an executive position. As far as I can tell, Rudy is the only one of the leading (as of today) contenders.
