Hey GV, always good to hear from you! Sounds like Tom is a TA student of the market. Personally I would be at a loss if I attended a meeting of traders where all they talked about were 'double death star dojis' and such. I'm familiar with the basics such as moving average, fib retracements and the like, but have always been a 'seat of the pants' type of trader. Sounds dumb, but perhaps it's a type of tech analysis simply based on long experience. I can't explain it, and don't really follow the heavy TA guys. I do cringe when I see all these books out there screaming 'use my system and get rich', or 'I doubled my trading stake in 30 days'. Even Cramer says 'I want to make you rich'. Long experience has taught me 'forget it'. Effort, cutting losses, and a bit of luck along with lots of experience are the keys... Best regards, John
