Works here. We have had anti-profiteering laws that kick in when a hurricane hits for decades and they work well.

No they work rather poorly. They reduce the local supply of important items.

That's crazy........you might have a point if the entire country was declared a disaster area but when one region is effected, parts in short supply can be trucked or flown into the effected area.

Its pathetic how worried and protective you are over your precious capitalism.
