It depends. Libertarianism has more different factions than the Baptists. And they are on a continuum from not much different from what we have, to total anarchy. Now it may be an accident of geography, but most of the libertarians I have run across lean towards the anarchy end of things. Because Texas doesn't go for much in the way of regulations, being on the mild end of the libertarian scale doesn't make a whole lot of sense. That just makes you a Democrat or a Republican.

Well, government is an extension of society. It isn't a separate entity. As a result, it winds up doing those things whether it is supposed to or not.
