Albert:
You and I go back a long ways on Silicon Investor. I can remember the emails we exchanged about AMD leaps and how cheap they looked, about how we couldn't believe that AMD kept going down, and about the Nx586 and Nx686.
Like you, I didn't like Carl braggin' about how much money he made. I didn't like the way Paul made us feel stupid. I didn't like Vicki yelling, "SEEL AMD NOW!!!!!" (BTW that isn't a typo, but a direct quote from her.) But, in their own way, they were telling us that AMD is not an Intel. Now, I am trying to tell you this.
To be honest with everyone here, the day I sold my AMD (for a loss, of course) and purchased Intel, I had no more stress in my life. AMD's window of opportunity is over. The only positive thing I see in AMD's future is if the FTC demands Intel to license their Slot 1/2 technology, and future chips, to AMD for a nominal amount.
Good luck to you all, and may you make wise investing decisions.
