1 - Libertarians give to charity. I believe the average per person contribution is higher then it is among liberals. I've seen a study that it was higher for conservatives then liberals, but I don't think anyone has studied libertarians. 2 - They aren't descending like vultures. Vultures are there to pick at your carcass, and perhaps to help you along in terms of becoming a carcass. The ice sellers where helping people. Not that they deserve a medal (they where profit seekers not heroes), but they didn't deserve punishment either. They also were not ripping anyone off.
