A TV program is reporting that the radio signal from a nearby WiFi AP could reach as high as 2000 mW that is 200 times higher than standard allowed.

Since many of us use wireless router + AP for 12 hours every day, but mostly only use the wireline (the Ethernet cable) connection, I wonder if there is a wireless DSL/Cable modem router available in the market that the wireless (WiFi) part can be switched off when only the wire connection is used.

My Netgear wireless router does not have that switch, at least.
