Hi...my own quit smoking story takes place after 15 years as a pack-and-a-half day addict. I quit (cold turkey) on my wedding day. I thought this was a good and appropriate time--being the big life-change of marriage and all--but it resulted in an unintended side-effect that I hear about (from my lovely spouse) regularly. That being, I was the biggest (@*$#@^@$( on the planet DURING MY HONEYMOON!

Nicotine withdrawl during your honeymoon is not good. At a time when you should be focusing all of your attention on your honey, you find yourself thinking about Cigarettes!

Anyway, the happy part of the story is that I haven't picked-up a smoke since...and it's been 12 years...so I guess it worked. ;-)
