I used to eat breakfast at a little place up the road from here. Their breakfast special was 2 eggs, hash browns, sausage patty and 3 pancakes that were the size of a plate on a separate platter. All of this for 3.99. Obscene amount of food. So one morning I said I wanted the breakfast special but I only wanted 1 pancake and half of the hash browns. Her reply was then your not ordering the special. I said I was but didn't want to throw all that food away and she insisted that it wasn't the special and she would charge me ala carte. I said fine bring the special and please bring along an empty plate. When she set everything down I said wait a minute and dumped 2 cakes and half the hash browns and told her to get it out of my sight as I didn't even want to look at that much food and asked her if that made any sense. She had no response.
