I agree, Pro. It was not used during the past eight years of wasteful government spending (8% annual growth on domestic side!), deficits, new entitlements (Medicare drugs), earmarks, boondoggles (2004 and 2005 Agriculture bills), pork (the list is endless)....by BOTH parties.
He did use the pen on stem cell research, however, so he knows how to use it.
Let's hope some kind of fiscal responsibility returns to Washington D.C., through the usual bickering and backstabbing attendant to divided government. Goodness knows, when one party is in charge the fox doesn't even need to get into the henhouse....the hens are simply handed over under dark of night.
And, yes, the democrats are dangerous too...not just the republicans. |
