Yes, but if you read comments from people who use E-Trade, there are quite a few complaints. Check out some of the sites that rate electronic brokerage firms. You can get to a good one through the Motley Fool (www.fool.com). I was considering E-Trade, but stopped considering it after reading what I felt were too many accounts of dissatisfaction by current users. No one is perfect, but my impression was that E-Trade had too many problems.
