However, I think the question, "Do you personally want the Iraq plan President Bush announced last week to succeed?" is straight-forward and succinct. Even though my preference differs from Bush's plan, I would LOVE to see his plan succeed. Frankly, I don't understand any American who would want Bush's plan, whatever it is, to fail.

They don't. It's just a reaction to disliking the President and thinking the plan will fail. Find me one poster on this board or anywhere that actively wants failure in Iraq. You can't.

Also, the idea of "success" or "failure" in Iraq is poorly worded as well. Americans want to improve the lives of the average Iraqi and safeguard the lives of the American troops. Success or failure, like winning and losing, occurs in sports-gambling and other black and white, win-lose events.
