it's hard to make sense of what Hillary's philosophical position is on Iraq, and thus how she would handle a similar situation in the future. It's not that complicated. She would have gone into Iraq if they had WMD and had links to AQ. However, she would never have made up stories about Iraq's WMD program and AQ links and therefore would never have actually invaded Iraq. Having gotten into the war under false pretenses, Bush compounded the mess by incompetence. He has completely mismanaged the war. Given where we are now, we can not compound the mess further by a precipitous and sloppy withdrawal.
