And I fail to see how any of what you said about the Kurds or Bin Laden relates to Saddam. That's what we were talking about.

Looks like it was mainly UK, French and US. Hardly what I would call "US". Take a look at the percentages aboove, and then look at the percentages of troops in Iraq. Oddly enough I've been told Iraq is a "coalition", but, imo, the troop numbers above are what a real coalition looks like- though the UK is certainly over-represented.

You still want to say the US was the major player in Kosovo?

I think the UK and France dominated in UNPROFOR too- but I don't have time to look those numbers up.
