Most of what you posted was nothing but theories found in the writings of people that were from ancient civilizations and had not been successful in war. The Romans, and Greeks, used soldiers from other places, but they were put in the ranks of the armies just like their own people. None of that was enemies fighting each other.
Hitler stabbed Stalin in the back, so Stalin retaliated by going to war on our side, but had our money and industry to wage it with. There would have been no cold war with the USSR, if we had a competent President at the time. FDR gave Stalin the green light to try and screw us at Yalta.
Iran was a threat to us, and the government knew that. They had put our people in jail, and Carter's attempt to save them was a fiasco. But, one business man was able to do what our government could not do with the standing army we had, and he, Ross Perot, was able to get his people out of the mess safe and sound.
