Well, how many times has Europe intervened to save America in the last century?

OTOH we've fought in WWI, WWII, was the power behind NATO which kept western Europe from becoming Soviet Socialist Republics like the east, and formed the muscle which suppressed ethnic cleansing in the Balkans just a few years ago. Here's some anti-European bias for you: Europe looks to me like a decadent power in decline (deservedly so from a moral standpoint) which can't be trusted to have real militaries lest they begin massacring one another.

I keep hearing crap from leftwingers here about Euros maturity, sophistication, and wisdom. Please - Europe is the home of the world's most foolish people. Europe gave the world communism and fascism in the last century. Most of those who weren't communists or fascists themselves were weak-kneed appeasers of those movements. Europe has been on the wrong side of almost every moral issue for the past century. Its no surprise the Rwandan genocide was planned in the French embassy mor that France helps protect Sudans ethnic cleansing today. Its no surprise Pol Pot and Ho Chi Minh were educated in Europe. One of the worst things I can say about American leftists is they want to be Europeans.

In the interest of brevity I'll stop now. There's so much more I could say.

I dare anyone to tell me why the gist of what I'm saying is wrong.
