Congressman Ron Paul is on the verge of running for president in 2008, undoubtedly to fill the void that exists in the current field of likely candidates. If he decides to run, he would arguably be the most Constitution-based candidate in the race so far. The fact that he would run as a Republican this time around (as opposed to Libertarian, as he did when he ran 20 years ago) makes his possible candidacy particularly interesting and intriguing
