Almost all of those gusts were measured high up on mountains, where you find very little structure to be destroyed.

I guess you haven't seen the video of 50 ft. trees pulled out by their roots, roofs ripped off of significant structures, the plate glass windows blowing out of London stores like there had been a bomb detonation; twenty to thirty foot waves crashing on shore, people hanging onto lampposts for dear life, etc.

They didn't show any video of scenes on top of mts. Sorry.
