Being a Governor of a LARGE State like Texas, plus having quite a bit of business experience, to say nothing of an MBA from a prestigious Ivy League School, qualified/qualifies GWB more than most Presidents we have had. Obama has ONLY experience in the Senate...this is NOT a take charge, BE IN Charge of a Business or Government....being a Senator is largely reactive, NOT proactive. Obama might have something to show us in a few years. But, as I've always said, ANYONE who runs for President, and for Senate for that matter, should have a minimum of 4 years in a responsible position with a BIG Business, AND 4 years as owner and manager of his/her own small business. We would have MUCH better qualified candidates if this were the case. Working for the State or Federal Government means that the person has NO experience in what it actually takes to create wealth. It just means they know how to "take" a paycheck.
