The less seriously the AmericanPublic takes Dubya, the less likely he will be able to start anything. I mean, if your own populace doesn't think you're credible, just how much of a threat can you be to anyone else?

Even before they're all out there, how many people are taking the urge to surge as a serious effort to win in Iraq? Those 21,500 troops translates into at most 4-5K troops on the ground in Baghdad, a city of 5 million, at any given time.

Seriously.

Dubya isn't taking this whole thing seriously, he isn't demanding a draft, he isn't even bothering to call up his BASE (fake or real) and ask for volunteers. Dubya isn't asking the mercenaries to take a pay cut so that more troops can be put on the ground. He isn't ratcheting down his play and vacation schedule.

Dubya isn't doing anything particularly seriously. For God's sake, he's saying that the BIG AMERICAN SACRIFICE is loss of 'peace of mind' (a Barbie Bush concept LOL) because we have to watch nasty images on the news.

Seriously.
