From Jan 19 NR "Current and historical drilling, as well as down-hole geophysics limit the extent of the zone to approximately 120 metres. Historical drilling and interpretation of downhole geophysics limit the western extension of the mineralized zone. interpretation of down-hole geophysics collected to date appears to limit the eastern strike extension of mineralization where the targeted horizon is much less densely drilled."

They gave us the one dimension = 120 metres - where they have 2 holes (#26 and #27 50 metres apart, and refer to down dip extension)
Hole BRC 07-28 with massive sulphides and assays pending is 50 metres along strike to the east of # 26. It is not too much of a stretch to figure the sulphides extend another 25 metres east of #28 and another 25 m west of #26. As you approach the limits on the east and west and downdip and updip, the mineralization will probably get narrower and more disseminated. therefore avg grade and width will decline.

You are correct in saying they have a huge property to explore, and in fact I think they are presently drilling on the Bell Channel, following up on an off-hole anomaly detected by down the hole geophysics. Apparently the Coldspring area came up dry.
The original discovery in 60's???(Mattagami Lake Mines which later became a Noranda subsidiary ) was led by John Harvey (now with NOT) was based on new geophysics developments. This recent discovery by DON was made by more recent developments in the "science" of geophysics.

VMS deposits usually occur in clusters. not all are economic, but in this case most of them are blind i.e. buried under good thicknesses of overlying rock. So far, over 40+ years they have found 28 deposits, 18 of which became producers.

There appears to be a lot of animosity towards Mr. Patterson and his record with the previous Donner Minerals. I can not blame a guy if his theories do not prove out. Most do not, exploration is a risky business, but some of the other negative comments about the previous Donner bother me.
