Ashley, though I agree with you that too much time is being spent discussing an issue that none of us can affect, and that may or may not affect the price of the stock or earnings (most likely very little impact even if QCOM loses), to my way of thinking, the impact on investor sentiment could be very significant.

If QCOM loses, institutional investors will continue to be skeptical about QCOM, and the stock will continue to lag other tech stocks and/or telecom stocks. If QCOM wins, investor sentiment will probably improve, and the stock will go up, even if earnings are not heavily affected.
