Playing up a storm is what is ALWAYS done. I was in Austin, Tx. when it flooded. A couple of low lying spots in the town suffered flash flooding and a few stupid people drowned, but the national news pitched it and filmed it like the entire town was under water. I had friends calling from all over the country to find out if I was ok. I watched the flood happen a few blocks from my house.
