Are you saying that people have NO STRONG OPINIONS about President Bush? :-)

(& therefore, that it would be *impossible* for their opinions about the President to influence --- in any way --- their answers to the question? <GGG>)

Another way of looking at that, GZ, is to MATHEMATICALLY explain *how* to determine what percentage of the results is due to the respondents' opinions about the President, and what percentage of the results is due to the respondents' opinions about how they want the US involvement in Iraq, the occupation, to turn out or resolve.

If you CAN'T honestly assign that answer by math (& I sure can't!) then the question is 'confounded'....
