You sound like there were no laws against murder, rape, theft, etc. before the Bible or Jesus...The only thing that was new it that you had to believe in GOD on the 10 Commandments. Heck, you would call Jesus a communist because he would be redistributing wealth every 50 years to the have nots as stated in the Bible( which no Christian in the USA does). Remember, the Aramaic scrolls found that come closest to have been written by Jesus was against organized religion but the Church's won't adopt that scroll because they would be out of business. Maybe if the Bible was written by God instead of man I would have faith... but I know how man can make a good medicine show with tonic water.
