You've looked and looked?
"The 2006 Senate Report on Prewar Intelligence concluded that Zarqawi was not a link between Saddam and al-Qaeda: "Postwar information indicates that Saddam Hussein attempted, unsuccessfully, to locate and capture al-Zarqawi and that the regime did not have a relationship with, harbor, or turn a blind eye toward Zarqawi."
Just so you don't miss it: "DID NOT HAVE A RELATIONSHIP WITH, HARBOR, OR TURN A BLIND EYE TOWARD ZARQAWI"

Since that was from the Wikipedia you posted, I'm so sorry you missed it. I'm not sure you paid as much attention as you think you did. Unless you want to argue the Senate isn't "the government", which would strike me as strange, but then much of this "conversation" has been beyond the bounds of belief.

"I am only halfway paying attention to this, as I've been working on the computer, installing, uninstalling and re-installing things, and sometimes I do mistype when I am in a hurry. But I did pay attention to the argument about "no support, no connection" as a judgment by "the government." |
