Uncle Frank,

LOL, you're killing me here. You're right, 11 cents isn't going to break the bank, ore even cut into my beer money (I keep that in CDs since I can't afford to loose it); To be clear, I'm under water 43 cents from original purchase; that won't kill me either-- just a deeper hole to dig out from. There's a certain tension between the need for attention to detail-- how we all make our money-- and not getting down in the weeds.

As I said, in the end, my conviction that I had made the right choice in the beginning and an instinctual understanding that trading fees are the downfall of many a good decision stopped me from trying to trade good enough for perfect. (the later being the enemy of the former)

Options unfortunately give me more... options. I thought this as like a support group, where I could share my moment of weakness... I didn't buy EMC solely to trade, I like the stock at the price. OTOH, the availability of damage repair was tempting.

Time will tell
