Beyond that, however, libertarians believe that it not the government's job to mold, shape, and actively sustain society. If the power of the collective is to be harnessed, that should be done outside of a government context.

It'll never happen.

When left to "the collective", the weakest in a society are the ones to suffer. People who have wealth and power tend to be greedy and unlikely to share.

Libertarianism is just an excuse to do whatever benefits your self interest; like Tim's profiteering scheme.
