Notable Calls submits: Merrill Lynch notes that in the course of doing vendor checks at the consumer electronics show and elsewhere, it appears that Texas Instrument's (NYSE:TXN) much-discussed Locosto is having some early difficulties. That was probably true about six months ago....but they shipped six million units in the 4th quarter so I think they have resolved any issues. TI's quarter can be summed up in two little words....3G sucked. Slacker
