Obama is black. He can't win the general election. And will not be nominated. Wait until 2016. If demographics start tilting toward a minority majority by then, Obama will have a chance.

And just remember Harold Ford, very similar to Obama in many ways, destroyed with a single racist TV ad which the RNC denied any connection with. of course they lied. They planned it. And McCain hired the same ad man.

What this whole Muslim thing will do is block Obama from ever getting more than 40% of the vote, especially in key swing states which are almost all white and pretty traditional.

Blue states any candidate can win, but Obama might even have trouble in light blue states without significant minority populations. And in 2000 New Hampshire also cost Gore the election. If he had won NH he could have afforded to lose Florida. How many blacks in New Hampshire?
