The "virus" stuff is mostly due to not filling out the settings properly when installing realplayer and the fact that the realplayer is a sworn enemy of the microsoft mediaplayer, they try to make life as difficult as possible for each other. However, maybe they have not really considered 500ms ping-pong times?? I have eperienced max 300ms without rtsp-problems. Ilmarinen. Note, realvideo has this great feature of buffering the latest 12 hours (tools->preferences->connection->etc) Microsoft seem to have some basic patent or other rights problems for not doing that, nor handling long ping-pong delays as well?? PS Not yet time to check the link you provided. tomorrow, tomorrow..
