"I look upon the American economy as a corporate dictatorship." It's fascism Len. American style, but just Mussolini's "Corporatism" brought up to date. We fought the fascists, but the fascists won! The only reason we're not all serfs is that no ONE consortium of corporations has managed to get permanent control. The current government is a wholly owned subsidiary of the oily and military-industiral crowd. The Dem government that takes it's place will also be controlled by the miltary-industrial crowd, but someone else with take the place of the oily guys. The one group that carries over no matter who is in charge is the military-industrial guys. That's why we spend 10 times more on "defence" than any other country on earth. Only 17% of Americans work directly for a corporation. Yet, due to their great wealth and influence, they have inordinate power.
