Patrick Ives...

Months ago I forwarded this note (post #1888, 20 May 1997) to this
newsgroup....

The "SELL SHEET" writes:

"Chandleur Bay (VSE:CYJ). Forget about the silly spikes that
occurred on April 4th, 18th and 29th. Perhaps it may have had
more to do with an astrological calculation (or some pretty bad
cocaine) than anything related to geology? CYJ is a doomed play.
No IFs, No BUTs, No Maybes. This one is DOOMED. (In SELL Sheet #2
of April 7th, I wrote: "Probably, they'll [shortsellers] allow
novices to runup the stock higher and then slam it back down
again."... Tell me it didn't happen as I forecast!!!) CYJ's 52-week
low of August 8th was C$0.21/share. Downside potential is there
more than ever."

You responded (post #1900, 20 May 1997):

Ward, How naive do you think people are? There is no such thing
as 100% accuracy in this game and as far as this stock vaporizing,
give us a break, this company has excellent properties with Arizona
turning out even better than expected and drilling about to start
on their California property which is apparently a real gem. It
appears to me that since the Bre-X fiasco there are people on the
internet who are trying to spook small investors into giving their
stock away and some nervous investors are falling for the con job.
Obviously the scam artists are picking on the companies with the
most potential with the hope of picking up some cheap stock.
Shares not for sale,
Pat

Patrick...I am not a scam artist.

However, I am no amateur either.

I think I deserve an apology.
Don't you?
