The idea that Radical Islam can unite and spread via strength is ridiculous, and has no basis in historical fact ANYWHERE other than 20 year undeveloped wartorn afghanistan. The idea it might overtake even little Zanzibar is nuts.


You might want to look at the Spread of the Ottoman empire..... Although we don't seem to recognise it, It looks like the Ottoman's ruled much of the territory around several small lakes, one of which you may have heard of, the Mediterranean. Non-muslim rule is in fact the newer option. Check out the progress of islamic rule from 1300 to it's collapse in 1922. They ruled a hell of a lot of territory for centuries before anyone even thought of the US.
