So you would have gone into Iraq when the polls supported such a move, then gotten the hell out once the support went below 50%?


LOL. The polls didn't support going into Iraq until Bush/Cheney/Rumsfeld/Powell scared people enough with their constant chatter of how Saddam had nukes and was going to nuke the US.

Think about the folly of poll-driven politics. What if the public supported something that you knew in your heart was completely wrong?

Think hubris and mendacity and intentionally scaring people. That's what your side does when the polls don't go their way.
