Maybe reading the latest issue of Smart Money might quite everyones fears. They rated the best stocks for the long term. They only gave about 20 recommendations but yes TLAB was one of them. I think that I will always have a holding in Tellabs, and while it's not doing that well I trade EGRP, YHOO, AND, and the like. TLAB is a company that you don't worry about it day to day. Most of the time I don't even visit this board because I know it's ok. My other risky investments I need to keep on the ball. The key is to get in low on these issues and then just hold them. I bought TLAB at the beginning of the year when it really took a tumble. Afterwards it went way up and I was making big money with it. Now it's gone back down but I'm still 30% above my buy price. If it goes down more I will pick up more shares. I just know they have done very well over the long term and I would not ever think of selling. I'll trade my high fliers.
Good Investing,
Ron
