Also it does carry some corporate prestige to have a Rolex style chief executive on board if the corporation can clearly afford it. Thus making it to the top 10 list of highest paid executive has both prestige and great promotional value - provided the company does well. Having the most expensive CEO on board while losing your butt, however, doesn't only have the opposite effect, it's also pathetic. Taro
