I think those are questions anyone who is trying to justify a pre-emptive war should ask themselves. To not do so or to answer 'no' is unprincipled. It means you want someone else to fight and sacrifice for your principles.

BTW, my paternal lineage is 2 generation military. Warfare was discussed and taken very seriously in my household.
