I so totally agree with all you have said. With sonograms, logic dictates that abortion should be considered 'murder'. As I said privately, I'm completely fractured in my thinking about abortion rights, i.e. would I be willing to legally force my personal opposition to abortion onto other women? I honestly can't decide.

Yes, studies have shown 30 year declines in crime has been most dramatic in states where abortion rights are most accepted and available. This is an important consideration.

However, having personally helped my oldest daughter and husband adopt an infant last March, I know there are many more families wanting to adopt than there are available infants. There's no need, Mike, to compel anyone to take the child of an unwanted pregnancy anymore.
