All I want you to do is stop dodging and weaving. When the Dems had a real chance to make a real difference they preferred to dodge and weave. Now the war lobby is in a state of retreat -- except of course for the man behind the curtain, Dick Cheney -- and there is some glimmer of recognition that we have done more than shoot ourselves in the foot by invading Iraq. But there are some who cannot come to terms with the fact that in this world there are times when you need to stand up and be counted. The problem is not that Iraqis won't stand up and be counted. The problem is that we have been so slow to stand up and say 'enough' -- no more BS hype about terrorism, no more hype about how victory is around the corner, no more hype about how we have created a democracy in Iraq, no more hype about staying the course, no more hype about how a surge is a new strategy, no more hype about there being no alternatives. No more hype. Now stand up and be counted.
