Kerry would win by a landslide in 2008. But so can Gore.
Hillary would make it a toss-up. Obama would lose despite being wildly popular in liberal circles. Biden needs to come on strong now. Vilsack is an impressive dark horse. Warner could have won it. Richardson is a VP candidate. Obama is too actually. Obama or Richardson would be fine as VP's. Edwards is the one I can't quite figure out. In fact, Kerry's departure may help Edwards more than anyone as the #1 white male currently in the race. But if Gore steps in he defeats everyone.
