Yes Gore is the strongest Democrat candidate and I hope he runs, but if he doesn't, fear not, there are others besides Hillary who can win in Ohio while holding onto all the states Kerry won in 2004. What do you think about Edwards? Now that Kerry is out I have to admit I'd better take a fresh look at Johny boy. He certainly is an attractive and charismatic man, and he has that southern accent and real self-made middleclass story. Plus, I hear his wife has lost a lot of weight so they make a fine-looking couple. Richardson may not be running for VP but that's the best he's going to get. He could be valuable as a VP in terms of shoring up the western battleground states. dems can afford to lose the south if they win a few of those.
