Its hardly minuscule use. Maybe E100 or even E85 has minuscule use, but E10 is very common.

Of course that's an estimate, but even if its only half of that it would be a quarter of the nations corn crop. I fail to see how you can consider that minuscule.


Tim, your numbers are screwed up......when are you going to learn to stop going to the right for your numbers? I guess you don't know this but when the right doesn't like something they try to scare people.....hence the ethanol horror stories.

In fact, according to the USDA, ethanol production takes up 14% of the US corn crop:
