Right now the tortilla basic price shot up to 75cts from 50 cts per Kg within just 6 weeks and a lot of hungry kids down there hate those libs stealing their corn for other purposes

Another brilliant accusation by the person who claims to have an IQ over 130.

Kind of funny how lower IQ libs hang themself faster than average libs!

Taro

Tortilla prices rose by 14 percent in 2006, more than three times the inflation rate, and they have continued to surge in the first weeks of 2007.The rise is partly due to U.S. ethanol plants gobbling corn supplies and pushing prices as high as $3.40 a bushel, the highest in more than a decade.

Listen, rightie, no one "stole" the corn as you suggest. Secondly, ethanol uses up only 14% of US corn production. Most corn is fed to farm animals.....in fact, they eat up 54% of US corn or four times that used by ethanol.......take your complaints to them.....and stop begrudging American farmers a decent income.
