I cannot fathom the USA backing the Kurds over Turkey. Turkey has been a LONG TIME ally of ours. Their beef is real (kurds in Turkey attempting to carve out territory from Turkey to form Kurdistan). I like the Kurds, I just HOPE they have the SENSE not to get involved with their brethren on the Turkey side of the border and be satisfied with what they have on the Iraqi side. I'd like us to be allies of BOTH. jdn
