Ceejayt,
There is 3 week DD. There is 3 day DD. There is 13 minute DD. And then there is 53 second DD -- to be applied only in dire emergencies (when reading a drilling news release one minute before opening bell while drunk, stoned, in love etc). I recall, vaguely enough, a post of Claude Cormier ages ago where he wrote that width in meters multiplied by gold grams/ton give a first indication how much certain drilling numbers may mean; that the number "300" (for example, 50 m @6 g/t or 10 m @30 g/t etc.) could be called "excellent", while the number "150" might evoke a "good", and "75" no more than "might have potential".
But I might be bubblebabbling. Appealing to Claude and SI's 3 master geologists: kindly correct me.
