Take up 14% of the production of a major commodity from one of the world's largest producers and you effect the price. If some new use used 14% of Saudi Arabia's oil production don't you think you would pay for it at the pump? And 14% isn't a cap here, its been growing each year, and there are plans that if approved and implemented would make it grow even faster.

I do agree that no one stole the corn. But buying it, and using it, even in useful ways, will drive up the price and can cause problems for others.
