After the bell, the hits keep coming and we haven't even gotten to the big one(s) which will surely be released at the show next week:

-----------------------------------

--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 30, 1997--

On Display at Booth 8523, October 8 - 10; Value Leading SNA/AS/400 Solutions, Remote Performance Monitoring, T1/E1 FRADs & Routers, Video over Frame Relay, Plus Voice over Frame Relay Demo with GTE in Booth 8057

FastComm Communications Corp. (NASDAQ:FSCX) announced its plans for Networld+Interop in Atlanta, Georgia, October 8 - 10. Included in FastComm's repetoire for the show will be its industry leading, value-added FRAD products, with support for SNA business applications in both the Mainframe (NCP 7.X) and AS/400 environments, featuring the recently announced new feature: FramePROTECT(TM).

This critically important feature is a data loss prevention mechanism, integrated seamlessly into FastComm's suite of SNA features. Working in concert with FastComm's MaximumPRIORITY(TM) multi-stream prioritization functionality, FramePROTECT(TM) prevents the loss of SNA data before your applications are affected by network congestion. These key features keep high priority SNA traffic flowing, avoiding loss of traffic and dropped Sessions. During high congestion situations, a protected memory area safeguards priority data.

FastComm's award-winning VoiceFRAD(TM) products will be on display in the GTE booth (8057), where the companies will demonstrate Voice over Frame Relay.

A highlight in the booth will be the LAN SARgent(TM) product, which offers full speed T1 and E1 ATM connectivity for remote LANs and Frame Relay devices, such as FRADs and Routers. Recently, the company announced compatibility testing with Yurie Systems of Landover, Maryland in a test bed which proved IP connectivity from a remote LAN attached to the FastComm product, switched through a Yurie ATM Access product, and then on to a Cisco router, utilizing RFC 1483 for true multivendor IP over ATM interoperability.

FastComm show personnel will also be able to discuss implementing Video over Frame Relay, as they demonstrate it with ABL in the FastComm booth (8523).

A portion of the booth will highlight products of the company's Comstat DataComm subsidiary, targeted for Banking & Financial Operations customers, who need to integrate legacy applications over their Intranets or Online networks.

Also on display at FastComm's booth will be the WEB.router(TM) line of Internet/Intranet products, targeted for remote and branch offices, along with the entire line of Frame Relay Access Devices (FRADs). Both product lines are now shipping with the optional integral T1/Fractional T1 and E1/Nx64 DSU/CSUs. These products will be demonstrated using third party network management solutions, such as the recently announced Ordinox Networks SNMP Graphical Manager for HP OpenView, as well as third party Remote Performance Monitoring software, also SNMP based.
