Interop 9/19 with the highlight ' The World is Already Wired for Multimedia Communications' Aware ,team up with Analog Devices Inc.,has HFC technology that DSC Communication and Pacific Bell are using it. What can HFC do for the customer? According to Bell Atlantic, a full HFC system could deliver: 1.Plain old telephone service (POTS) 23 to 37 broadcast analog TV channels 2.188 broadcast digital TV channels 3.272 to 464 digital point cast channels (that deliver customer requested programming at a time selected by the customer 4.High speed two-way digital data link (in both directions) All companies:Aware,Analog Devices and DSC communication will be in Interop.
