I've given up on you Geode.

I 100% agree that a system can EASILY be designed which provides longer lifespan and better health, for much less money, but makes life/death decisions without the individuals consent. All that is needed for such an aggregate system is exercise, good nutrition, immunizations, and avoidance of bad habits, and perhaps antibiotics. Cheap and effective, but you die when you have any serious injury. QED.
